Harpenden Cycles was opened in 1989 by David Wright and a young Liam Jeffries who was a staple part of the business for 22 years.
The shop has traded from the same site at 115 Southdown Road in Harpenden for over 30 years and although we have changed in size and in staff, we still remain a pillar of the community for our skill, experience and antiquity. Great service and friendly staff have always been key to the ongoing success of the business.
It has always been our aim to offer the best quality and choice of products that we can. We are proud to boast a knowledgeable team of staff with the experience that comes from years of riding bikes as well as selling and servicing them.

Here at Harpenden cycles we don’t just sell bikes. We have a dedicate workshop team ready to help you, from a general service to custom builds. We offer the cycle to work scheme, where you could have up to 39% on you next purchase, we also arrange weekly rides for anyone to join, stay fit, enjoy the great out door and meet new people!
